I Preethi Sowndharya Venkatesan of Royal Valley Puppies (from here on referred to as the breeder) have made every effort to provide you the purchaser with a healthy puppy that is guaranteed to be in good health at the time purchaser takes ownership. I guarantee that all vaccinations and de-worming are current at the time of purchase as stated on the Veterinarian's Certificate of Health included in the purchaser's puppy packet.

For the protection of all parties, the puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian at the purchaser’s own expense within 3 business days of taking ownership of the puppy. Failure to do so renders the health and genetic guarantee portion of this agreement null and void. If this puppy is found to life-threatening hereditary /congenital defect or any major health problem at this time the purchaser has one of 3 options, 1: return the puppy immediately for a full refund of the purchase price, 2: return the puppy immediately and receive a replacement puppy of equal value (within 12 months), 3: keep the puppy with no replacement or refund, provided that the breeder is notified within 24hrs of the vet exam and provides the breeder with a signed letter from a licensed veterinarian on an official letterhead stating the defect or health problem. The purchaser must return the puppy along with all papers within 4 business days of ownership of the puppy. I the breeder am not responsible for any bills or shipping. costs acquired by you, the purchaser after the date of purchase. 

Purchaser agrees to not over-exercise or allow the puppy to do stairs or strenuous exercise or play until after 9 months of age and agrees not to confine puppy/dog to a crate for excessive amounts of time, or allow the puppy to be over or underweight, especially during rapid puppy growth and development. To avoid the development of hip and elbow dysplasia as well as luxating patella and IVDD. Purchaser agrees that this puppy/dog will live in the home in a home environment and never live in a kennel environment or outside for excessive amounts of time. The purchaser has been made aware that the breeder feeds a raw commercially prepared diet paired with multi-vitamins, omega supplements, and probiotics to all the parent dogs and puppies are fed Acana Kibbles but under no circumstances will the purchaser feed Big Country Raw or this will void the health guarantee portion of this contract. If the purchaser chooses to move to a raw diet, they must follow the breeder’s instructions on how to safely do so from Kibbles.

To not follow these instructions would void the health guarantee portion of this contract. If the purchaser chooses to move forward with the recommended raw diet and supplements purchaser also agrees to feed only a high-quality diet and no grocery or big box store, or feed store/co-op brands (Pedigree, Purina, Iams, Beniful, Royal Canine etc...) and no vegetarian diets unless absolutely necessary and prescribed by a licensed veterinarian with a medical reason to do so, to ensure ideal growth and healthy development of the puppy/dog and long term health of the dog. Or it will void the health and genetic guarantee portion of this contract.

Certain disorders may be caused by environmental factors, including but not limited to, the following: coccidia, giardia, kennel cough, cancer, demode tic mange, scabies, allergies, and other autoimmune system disorders, hypoglycemia, and these are not covered in this guarantee. This guarantee does not include injuries, fleas, mites, or any other intestinal worms/parasites, as they are common in puppies. Our puppies are vet-checked prior to leaving our home and the veterinarian’s certificate of health stating his medical findings for this puppy is included in your puppy packet. This guarantee does not include uneven bites, class 1 or 2 murmurs, or inguinal or umbilical hernias. I the breeder will not be responsible for Parvovirus, Distemper, Adenovirus, or Corona Virus after 48hrs after the sale, as these are highly contagious diseases, and they can be contracted immediately after leaving my home. I the breeder will not be responsible for any illness or health problem, which are diagnosed after this time period, except where specifically stated in this contract.

This puppy is being sold as a companion NOT as a breeding dog. There are NO breeding rights included in the sale of the puppy/dog. This puppy must be Spayed/neutered no sooner than 9 months or later than 12 months of age. Proof of spay/neuter must be e-mailed to the breeder by no later than 12 months of age. If this puppy has not been Spayed/neutered by 12 months, the health and genetic guarantee portion of this contract becomes null and void. This dog may NOT be bred unless you have received written consent from a breeder is the sole property of the breeder and have paid the extra fee associated with breeding rights (which is a separate contract). Any offspring produced without the written consent from the breeder would be the sole property of the breeder and the additional fee of 2000$ per puppy produced will also be paid to the breeder.

This puppy is guaranteed for his/her 2 years against; CM(Congenital Methemoglobinemia), DM (Degenerative myelopathy), EIC (exercise-induced collapse), FN(Familial Nephropathy ( Cocker Spaniel type), Osteochondrodysplasic PRA-PRCD (progressive rod-cone degeneration form of Progressive Retinal Atrophy), EIC (exercise-induced collapse), and VWDI (von Willebrand’s disease type 1), is guaranteed for 2 years from the date of birth against any other life-threatening congenital defects. If within that time a life-threatening congenital defect is attested to by two non-associated licensed veterinarians and the reason is congenital, the breeder will either pay the vet bill up to but not beyond the purchase price of the puppy or replace the puppy with another of the same breed and quality and price if the breeder’s veterinarian agrees with the required reports from two non-associated licensed veterinarians. The breeder must be notified at the onset of the problem, in writing, with a report from two non-associated veterinarians. The replacement puppy will be subject to availability and the breeder does not guarantee the color or sex, of the replacement puppy. Cash refunds will not be given after the initial 3-day period and refunds are only given if the puppy has seen a licensed veterinarian and they send a written statement declaring the puppy has a life-threatening congenital defect within the 3 days stated period and the puppy is returned immediately to the breeder. In the unlikely event of the death of this puppy in the first 2 years from the date of birth, due to a congenital defect, a statement from a licensed veterinarian confirming such an event and the cause is required before any action will be taken by the breeder. If the cause is unknown a necropsy is required at the owner’s expense. The breeder will not be responsible for any bills associated with such an event. Your puppy has been on a vaccination and de-worming schedule while in the breeder’s care and is up to date. Official records of this have been provided in the purchaser's puppy packet. I encourage you to take this health record to your veterinarian, it is important to continue with the vaccination and de-worming schedule after taking ownership of your new puppy. You the purchaser, agree to ensure your puppy's good health and to keep this guarantee in effect by taking good care of the puppy a providing good food and water, housing, regular grooming, and good medical care. As a responsible puppy owner/purchaser, you must provide your puppy with routine preventative care and all immunizations, administer monthly heartworm preventatives, and annual physicals by a licensed veterinarian. The purchaser understands and agrees not to administer any Isoxazoline products including but not limited to Bravecto, Nexgard, Credelio, Simparica or Revolution Plus as these preventatives have been known to cause serious neurological issues and even death. Failure to do so will make the health and genetic guarantee portion of this agreement null and void. You the purchaser agree that this puppy/dog will never be surrender to an animal shelter or rescue, abandoned, euthanized, or resold, or given away due to inability/willingness to care for the puppy/dog. In the event that at any point in the puppy's/dog's life, the purchaser is no longer able/willing to care for the puppy/dog resulting in the puppy/dog needing to be rehomed the purchaser agrees to give the breeder first right of refusal to return the puppy/dog to the breeder’s care. No refund will be given to the purchaser in such an event. The puppy/dog can NOT be RE-SOLD, GIVEN AWAY, or TRADED to another party without the breeder’s consent.

The health and genetic guarantee portion of this contract is valid only for the original

purchaser of this puppy as stated at the beginning of the contract. If this puppy/dog is

transferred to another owner at any time, the health and genetic portion of this guarantee becomes null and void. The health and genetic guarantee portion of this contract is null and void if any of the terms are not fulfilled. If the purchaser finds themselves in a legal battle with the breeder and loses purchaser agrees to pay any and all fees (legal or otherwise) for both parties associated with such an event.

The breeder makes no guarantees, expressed or implied, under this.

contract except as stated above. This guarantee must be signed at the

time of purchase and both parties receive a copy of this document. By

signing below both parties, the breeder and purchaser, have agreed to this.
